Kitchen Crew

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Kitchen Crew member to support the daily operations of our busy kitchen. You will assist with food preparation and cooking, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, prepare dishes according to established recipes, and support the kitchen team during service. This role is suitable for individuals who are passionate about food, enjoy working as part of a team, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage, but candidates with strong practical skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking methods.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Good communication skills and willingness to take direction.
• Willing to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential.
• Passionate about food and interested in the hospitality industry.

• Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Assist chefs and cooks with chopping, marinating, food preparation, and cooking.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of assigned kitchen stations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food quality.
• Plate and present dishes with attention to detail.
• Receive, store, and rotate food inventory appropriately.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support the team during busy service periods.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and preparation.
