About the role
Install, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. Diagnose and resolve equipment issues on-site. Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. Prepare service reports after each job. Provide technical support and basic customer guidance. Coordinate with the service team to complete assignments efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission commercial kitchen equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Respond to service calls and provide on-site technical support.
- Inspect equipment to ensure proper performance and safety compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Refrigeration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (training provided); candidates with relevant experience are an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Able to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently.
- Willing to travel for on-site service and installation.
- Possess a valid Class D driving licence (preferred).
- Physically fit and able to handle tools and equipment.
- Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Willing to work overtime or on weekends when required.
