About the role
We are hiring Retail Assistant to own meaningful work from discovery through delivery. You will partner with the hiring manager, product stakeholders, and teammates to solve real business problems.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with their purchases.
- Operate the cashier and process payments accurately.
- Replenish shelves and ensure products are properly displayed.
- Monitor stock levels and report low inventory.
- Check product expiry dates and remove expired items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
- Receive and organize incoming deliveries.
- Assist with stocktaking and inventory checks.
- Follow company procedures and food safety standards.
- Working Hours
- 6 days per week
- Rotational shifts
- Morning: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Evening: 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is an advantage but not required.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Honest, responsible, and punctual.
- Able to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts.
- Physically fit and able to lift light to moderate items.
